Charity

CHARITY -- Now there's a word you don't hear much these days.  I was driving on a back road today when up ahead was a woman walking her dog.  There was no extra room on the side of the road for the woman -- a car was approaching from the other direction so I stopped to allow her room to continue her walk with her dog without having to go into the tall grass and weeds on the side of the road.  A very simple act -- she smiled and waved as a "thank you" and I did same in return.  Such a small, mundane thing to do -- but a million of these small, mundane things will help our world to be a much more charitable place in which to live.
